Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a seasoned executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of CPower Energy since July 2023. Prior experience includes notable roles such as Director at Proterra Inc. and Co-Chief Executive Officer at MyPower Corp. Michael has also held impactful leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer at ForeFront Power and Senior Vice President of Distributed Energy at Constellation, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management for distributed solar and energy efficiency initiatives across the US. Michael's foundation in the industry is complemented by experience as Vice President at Exelon, where leadership included venture investing in energy technology startups.
