John Williams

John Williams is a seasoned professional in corrosion control, currently serving as the Supervisor of Corrosion Control at CPS Energy since September 2022, where responsibilities include maintaining the PCS database for cathodic protection and atmospheric coating inspections, as well as representing the company during regulatory audits. Previously, John held the position of Senior Corrosion Technician at Magellan Midstream Partners from January 2014 to October 2022, overseeing maintenance and inspections on the Longhorn pipeline and Corpus Christi marine terminal. John's experience also includes working as a Corrosion Technician at Texas Gas Service from April 2012 to January 2014, where duties involved maintaining and troubleshooting impressed current cathodic protection systems, and supervising third-party contractors. Earlier in the career, John served as a Coating Inspector at T and R Corrosion, focusing on QA/QC for coated production tanks. John holds an Associate's degree in Corrosion Technology from Kilgore College, completed between 2009 and 2011.
