Kari Meyer

Kari Meyer is an experienced professional with a strong background in governmental relations and legislative affairs, currently serving as the Director of Federal & State Relations at CPS Energy since December 2014. Prior to this role, Kari held various positions in the Texas House of Representatives, including Director of Administration & Special Programs and Director of Special Programs, accumulating a wealth of knowledge in state governance. Earlier career experience includes serving as Chief of Staff for Representative Joe Straus and Legislative Assistant for Representative Burt Solomons. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Southwestern University, where Kari studied from 2002 to 2006.
