Radhika Patil

Radhika Patil has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Radhika is currently the founder and CEO of Cradlewise Inc., a company that has developed an intelligent crib with an integrated baby monitoring system. The smart crib, recognized as one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2020, uses machine learning to analyze babies' sleep patterns, detect early signs of waking up, and soothe them back to sleep with music. Prior to founding Cradlewise, Radhika worked at Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer, focusing on power management ICs for smartphones. Radhika specialized in battery chargers and fuel gauging for devices powered by Snapdragon processors. Radhika also worked as a Windows Mobile Engineer at Qualcomm before joining Cradlewise. Radhika began their career as a System Design Engineer at Stamp Computers Pvt. Ltd., where they designed a tablet based on Texas Instrument's Sitara family of ARM Cortex-A8 processors. Radhika collaborated with an EDA team on schematics design and layout and developed Linux device drivers for the platform. Additionally, Radhika worked as a Systems and Firmware Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor, where they focused on HDMI drivers for video chipsets used in high-definition televisions and Blu-ray players. Radhika gained a comprehensive understanding of video pipeline technologies and concepts such as interlaced and progressive video, color space conversion, frame rate conversion, and various high-definition and 3D video formats. Radhika also has research experience as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Science. During this time, they designed Zigbee-based communication motes for sensor networks and embedded code for transmitting sensor data over Zigbee. Radhika also worked on the design of an Inertial Navigation System using Texas Instruments' OMAP-based Beagleboard platform. Overall, Radhika Patil possesses a strong technical background and entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated through their roles in product development, engineering, and research.

Radhika Patil's education history begins in 1988 when they attended St. Ursula High School in Pune, Maharashtra, where they completed their School education until 2000. Following this, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Apte Prashala in Pune, Maharashtra, and obtained their High School degree.

Moving forward, Radhika attended the College of Engineering Pune from 2002 to 2006. Here, they pursued a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE).

After completing their BE, Radhika Patil furthered their education at the Indian Institute of Science from 2006 to 2008. During this period, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Electronic Design. This marked the culmination of their higher education journey.
