Ana Ruiz Kennedy has worked in various roles since 1999. Ana began their career as an Independent Contractor/ Spanish Interpreter for Pacific Interpreters. In 2011, they were appointed Vice-Chair of the Washington State Commission on Hispanic Affairs, where they identified and defined issues concerning the rights and needs of Washington State's Hispanic Community, advised the Governor and state agencies on the development of relevant policies, plans and programs that affect Hispanics, and advised the legislature on issues of concern to the state's Hispanic community. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Licensed Agent for New York Life Insurance Company, and from 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Fiesta Foods. Most recently, they have been working as a Community Development & Impact and Community Development Specialist for Numerica Credit Union since 2021, and is set to become a Business Liaison for Craft3 in 2022.
Ana Ruiz Kennedy attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1995 to 1997 and Universidad de Colima from 1995 to 1997.
