Da Suel Kim

Da Suel Kim is an experienced professional in the fields of computer animation and visual effects. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn College - Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, teaching Lighting, Shading, and Rendering, and at the School of Visual Arts, instructing in Computer Animation III, IV, and Production Skills I, II. Kim also holds the position of CG Lead at Crafty Apes VFX since February 2022. Previous roles include Senior 3D Lighter/Generalist at Method Studios and Lead 3D Lighter/Generalist at Mr. X Inc. Kim has contributed as a thesis advisor for the BFA Computer Art Department at the School of Visual Arts. Membership in the Visual Effects Society has been maintained since November 2016. Educational background includes a BFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts and an Associate's degree from Northern Virginia Community College in Fine Art.
