Stephanie Ide Sweeney

Stephanie Ide Sweeney is an experienced visual effects professional specializing in compositing with a career spanning over 18 years in the film and television industry. Currently serving as Lead Nuke Compositor at Crafty Apes since June 2019, Sweeney previously worked at Sony as an In-house Compositor for "Men in Black: International" and at Method Studios in various roles, including Nuke Compositor and Roto/Paint Supervisor from 2010 to 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as Roto/Paint Lead at Asylum Visual Effects and Roto/Paint Artist at Hydraulx VFX, along with a foundation as a 2D/3D Generalist at kroma. Sweeney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from San Francisco State University, with earlier studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
