Alexis Tolentino

Alexis Tolentino's work experience begins in 2016 when they worked as an Editor at The Tab UF, starting as a contributing campus writer and eventually becoming the deputy editor. They were responsible for commissioning and editing stories and facilitating collaboration between editors and writers. At the same time, Alexis also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, teaching American Sign Language.

In 2021, Alexis worked as an Engagement Center Ambassador at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, where they contacted alumni to encourage post-graduation financial participation. They successfully negotiated with prospects who initially rejected providing contributions.

From 2022 to 2023, Alexis held multiple roles. They worked as a Membership Sales and Front Desk Associate at CycleBar, generating new sales leads and advocating for customers. They also served as a Sales Development Representative at Satellite, where they participated in a rigorous training program and developed a comprehensive understanding of prospect researching and consultative selling.

In 2021, Alexis worked as a Speech Language Pathologist at UCP of Central Florida, providing speech-language therapy services to students with various communication disorders. They established rapport with students and incorporated therapy materials to encourage active participation.

Most recently, Alexis has been working as a Business Development Representative at Crafty since 2023.

Alexis Tolentino pursued their education at the University of Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, General from 2015 to 2019. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and completed a Master of Arts - MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders for Speech-Language Pathology from 2019 to 2021.
