Jeff M. Ahearn

Jeff M. Ahearn is the current CEO at Craig-Botetourt Electric Cooperative. Prior to this, they served as the Interim General Manager at Craig Botetourt Electric Coop from August 2019 to February 2020. Jeff was also the Manager of Electric Distribution Services at Craig Botetourt Electric Coop from September 2017 to February 2020. Before that, they were the System Engineer at Craig Botetourt Electric Coop from December 2016 to September 2017.

Ahearn began their career in the electric industry at Coastal EMC, where they worked from August 2010 to August 2016 as the Manager of Engineering. Jeff then moved to Tideland EMC, where they served as the Manager of Engineering & Operations and Assistant General Manager from November 2008 to August 2010. In March 2008, they became the Interim CEO & Manager of Engineering at Tideland EMC, a position they held until November 2008. From October 2002 to February 2008, they were the Manager of Engineering at Tideland EMC. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Engineer at Tideland EMC from June 1998 to October 2002. Ahearn started their career as an Engineer at DynCorp International from October 1997 to June 1998.

Jeff M. Ahearn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering. Jeff then attended Leadership Bryan, where they studied Bryan County GA & Richmond Hill history. Finally, they attended the Georgia Academy for Economic Development, where they studied Service delivery region 12.
