Danny Ecker

Danny Ecker is a seasoned journalist with over a decade of experience in reporting and content management. Currently a reporter for Crain's Chicago Business since January 2010, Danny specializes in Chicago's commercial real estate, sports business, and the convention and tourism industry, while also managing written and multimedia content for ChicagoBusiness.com. Previously, Danny served as a producer at UWire.com, overseeing web content and advising student reporters, and as a reporter at WLNS-TV 6, where Danny covered a variety of news topics and reported live for local broadcasts. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and History from Northwestern University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
