Esther Levy has been working in the food industry since 2010. Esther began as a Quality Lab Technician at ABC Research, then worked as a Processed Foods Research Intern at USDA-ARS-WRRC. In 2011, they became a Food Microbiology Laboratory Research Assistant at the University of Florida and a Compliance and Logistics Coordinator at Lakewood Organic Juices. In 2013, they worked as a Consultant, Food Scientist and MBA at Mr. Greens Produce, Bento Sushi, Tony Roma's Venezuela, and Cold Pressed Raw. From 2014 to 2021, they held the roles of VP of Compliance and R&D Lead Scientist and Compliance Officer and R&D Lead Scientist at Lakewood Organic Juices. In 2021, they became a Senior Consultant at Evolve Food Consultants and a Chief Operating Officer and R&D Director at Craize Snacks.
Esther Levy has a diverse educational background. Esther obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from the University of Florida in 2011. Esther then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. Prior to that, they received an Associate of Arts degree in Nutritional Sciences from Santa Fe Community College in 2008. In addition to their formal education, Esther has obtained several certifications, including FSPCA Intentional Adulteration Food Defense Plan Preparation and Reanalysis from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in 2020, FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) from the Association of Food and Drug Officials in 2016, Certified ServSafe® Instructor and Registered ServSafe® Examination Proctor for the National Restaurant Association from ServSafe Food Protection Manager Instructor in 2014, and Food Safety and Quality ServSafe® Manager’s National Certification from ServSafe Certified in 2011.
