Amie Courtney

Amie Courtney, JD, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Cranberry Township since January 2019. Prior to this role, Amie worked as an Associate Attorney at Babst Calland from August 2015 to December 2018, specializing in Public Sector Services and Energy & Natural Resources. Additional legal experience includes positions as an Associate Attorney at Gaitens Tucceri & Nicholas, Contract Attorney at Solvaire Technologies/Babst Calland, Law Clerk at The Lynch Law Group, and various internships including a Judicial Intern at the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Amie's academic background includes a Juris Doctor from Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, a Master's in Forensic Science from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Amie also has teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member in microbiology at CCAC and provided medical advocacy for Pittsburgh Action Against Rape.
