Gregory Miller

Science Department Head at Cranbrook Educational Community

Gregory Miller has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Gregory started their career as a Teacher at Algonac High School from August 1977 to August 1978. Gregory then moved on to become a Teacher at Culver Academies from August 1978 to July 1983. In 1985, they joined Cranbrook Schools where they held various roles including Wilderness Expedition Leader, Cross Country Coach, and Track and Field Coach for different periods of time. Gregory Miller also worked as the Science Department Head at Cranbrook Educational Community starting in July 2008. Gregory later became the Chair of the Compensation Committee from October 2009 to January 2014, where they led the reinvention of the direct compensation plan for the faculty.

Gregory Miller has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, which they obtained from Oakland University between the years 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, Physics, and Education at Hillsdale College between 1973 and 1977. In addition to their formal education, Gregory obtained a certification as a USATF Level II Track Coach: Distance from the United States of America Track and Field institution in June 1990.
