Melissa Karrer

Melissa Karrer is an experienced educator currently serving as a Science Teacher at YMCA of Southwest Florida and the Head of the Sciences Department at SKY Academy Venice. With a diverse teaching background, Melissa has taught various grade levels and subjects, including 4th-grade and 5th-grade classes in different school districts, along with a role as a Lead Educator in a STEM-focused outreach program. Melissa's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Montana and a solid foundation in early education through various clinical experiences. Additionally, Melissa holds a position as an Assistant Manager at Spotlight Theatres, Inc. and has prior experience as a Notary Public and stylist.
