Jason van Gumster

Jason van Gumster is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in various creative and technical roles. Currently serving as the Nerd Behind the Curtain at Tablescraps and the Director of Marketing and Special Projects at Autotroph, Jason also holds the position of Blender Consulting Lead at Orange Turbine, Optical Designer at Crane Currency, and Writer/Publisher at Giant Coffee Blunderbuss. Additionally, Jason contributes as an Administrator/Moderator for BlenderArtists.org and a Ring Maker at Bentwood Forge. Past roles include Critic at the Rhode Island School of Design and Author of notable publications such as "Blender For Dummies" and "GIMP Bible." Jason's educational background includes a BFA in Kinetic Imaging and a BS in Computer Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as studies at the Plympton School of Animation.
