Research And Development Manager at Crane Currency

Jennifer Cowan is an accomplished Research Scientist with extensive experience in adhesive development and materials science. Currently, Jennifer has been with Crane Currency since October 2012, specializing in research initiatives. Prior to this role, Jennifer served as a consultant at Mobius Technologies from December 2008 to December 2009, where responsibilities included coordinating large-scale trials for a recycled adhesive replacement for oriented strand board (OSB). Jennifer also contributed to Huber Engineered Woods from September 2004 to December 2008, focusing on a rapid method for analyzing wood sample materials that culminated in US patent 7,279,684. Earlier experience includes working as a Development Chemist at Georgia-Pacific LLC in 2003, where Jennifer coordinated studies on using biological materials in adhesive applications and filed a US patent application. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Emory University and a BA in Chemistry from Maryville College.
