Troy Segale

Troy Segale has over a decade of experience in instructional design and development. Troy began their career in 2008 as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Telezone, LLC / Irwin Naturals. In 2013, they joined CraneMorley as a Director of Instructional Design, where they led initiatives to help new organizations integrate Extended Reality solutions (AR/VR/MR) into their training and performance workflows. Troy also designed and developed several Dynamics 365 Guides modules for the HoloLens 2. Segale then took on the role of Senior Instructional Designer and Lead Instructional Designer and XR Developer at NYSEARCH, where they led several XR initiatives to help energy/utility organizations integrate future technologies into their existing training and on-the-job workflows. Most recently, they acted as Project Lead and Curriculum Developer at SoCalGas and Subaru, where they led teams to transform their training curriculums and end user experiences.

Troy Segale holds a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from California State University, Long Beach, as well as a Technical and Professional Communication Certificate from the same university.
