Tara Blair

Tara Blair is currently working as a Quality Engineering Manager at CraniUS since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Stryker as a Senior R&D Engineer from July 2019 to September 2022. Before Stryker, Tara worked as a Kayak Instructor and Sales Associate at Nantahala Outdoor Center from May 2018 to October 2018. Tara also served as a Project Manager at Johns Hopkins University Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design from January 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, Tara held various roles at Johns Hopkins Outdoor Pursuits, including Director of Operations from March 2016 to May 2018 and Outdoor Instructor from October 2014 to May 2018. Tara worked as a Design Engineer at Kubanda Cryotherapy from March 2016 to May 2018. Tara also gained experience as a Systems Engineering Intern at Medtronic from May 2017 to October 2017. Furthermore, they worked as an Intern at Qualia Robotic Solutions from May 2016 to September 2016. Tara's early work experience includes being a Research Assistant at the Institute for NanoBioTechnology from March 2015 to August 2016 and a Teaching Assistant (Engineering 101) at Johns Hopkins University Engineering Innovation from May 2015 to July 2015.

Tara Blair completed their high school education at Urbana High School from 2010 to 2014, where they received an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Tara then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Tara has obtained several certifications, including American Canoe Association Instructor certification from the American Canoe Association in April 2018, CPR certification from NOLS - National Outdoor Leadership School in January 2016, and Wilderness First Responder certification, also from NOLS - National Outdoor Leadership School in January 2016.
