Michael Winquist

Michael Winquist has a diverse and extensive work experience in law enforcement. Michael started their career as a State Trooper in the Rhode Island State Police in 1990 and later served as a Detective in various units, including Narcotics, Intelligence and Organized Crime, Financial Crimes, ATF Task Force, Providence Gang Task Force, and Area Detectives. Michael was promoted throughout the years and eventually became the Assistant Detective Commander in 2012. In 2013, they were promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and served as the Deputy Superintendent-Chief of Field Operations, overseeing the Uniform/Division, Intelligence Unit, Fusion Center, and specialized units.
