Charlie Mack

Charlie Mack has a diverse and extensive work experience. Charlie is currently the CEO of Cranstoun, a position they have held since November 2020. Additionally, they serve as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Bryson Charitable Group since May 2022. In the past, Charlie has held various roles such as a Board Member at the Local Government Staff Commission since November 2014 and as a Member of ACEVO since 2008. Charlie was also actively involved in several organizations, including the National Lottery Community Fund as an NI Committee Member from October 2015 to November 2022, and as the CEO of Extern from July 2013 to September 2020. Further, they served as a Board Member at the NI Fire & Rescue Service from October 2010 to October 2014, and at the Royal National Institute of Blind People, they held the positions of Group Director from April 2012 to July 2013, and Director Northern Ireland from January 2010 to April 2012. Moreover, Charlie served as the Committee Chair at the Northern Ireland Social Care Council from January 2010 to July 2013.

Charlie Mack received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) Double Honours degree in Modern Languages from the University of London from 1982 to 1986. Charlie then pursued a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Wolverhampton from 1990 to 1992. In 1986-1987, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from the University of London. Charlie furthered their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from Ulster University from 1999 to 2000. Prior to their university studies, Charlie attended Portora Royal School from 1976 to 1982.
