Eileen McGaughey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in workforce development, team engagement, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Team Member Engagement at Lucas Research since May 2022, Eileen is focused on innovating clinical research practices. Prior roles include Assistant Center Manager and Career Advisor at NCWorks Career Center - Craven, where services were provided to diverse job seekers and employers. Eileen has also held various positions in social services and educational institutions, including Director of the Center for Professional Development at Aims Community College. Eileen holds a Master of Science in Instructional Design & Human Performance Technology from Franklin University and a BA in Sport Sciences and Physical Education from the University of Denver.

Craven County Government
Craven County Local Government. Craven County was named in honor of William, Earl of Craven, who lived from 1606-1697. His death preceded the establishment of Craven County, and he never had the pleasure of visiting the county which carries his name. The official Craven County seal was designed and adopted in 1981, using the coat-of-arms of the Earl, which is also the coat-of-arms of his nephew, William, Lord Craven, who succeeded him as Lord Proprietor of Carolina. The motto on the seal, "Virtus in Actione Consistit" translates to "Virtue Consists in Action".
