Matthew Peters is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles within the policing community, including Patrol Sergeant at Crawford County Sheriff's Office since October 2017, and Patrol Officer at Arma Police Department since October 2011. Previously served as Patrol Sergeant and Sergeant Detective at Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, where responsibilities included overseeing patrol staff, investigating narcotics-related crimes, and responding to various calls for service. Peters began a career in law enforcement as a Patrol Deputy and also has experience as a Corrections Officer. An alumnus of Missouri Southern State University, Peters holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and an Associate of Science in Law Enforcement, along with completion of a Law Enforcement Academy program.
