Urszula Z. Velez

Urszula Z. Velez is a seasoned project leader with extensive experience in nonproliferation, threat reduction, and biosecurity programs. Since August 2019, Urszula has held various roles at CRDF Global, currently serving as Senior Project Lead where responsibilities include overseeing project teams, managing complex project portfolios, stakeholder relations, and budget management. Prior roles include Deputy Project Manager and Project Lead, with notable work at the European Academy of Diplomacy as Senior Programme Advisor and Head of the Academy of Young Diplomats. Additional experience includes logistical coordination for international events at INTERPOL and expertise in public relations and administration from earlier roles. Urszula holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Warsaw and a certificate from Sciences Po Lyon.
