Sairah Burki is the current Managing Director of Regulatory Affairs at CRE Finance Council. Sairah has also served as the Managing Director, Head of Policy at Structured Finance Association from October 2013 to December 2019, and as the Director of Treasury Policy Affairs at Capital One from March 2006 to September 2013.
Burki has extensive experience in responding to proposed regulations with significant capital markets and corporate finance implications. Sairah has developed strategic plans to manage proposed and final regulations in partnership with numerous internal teams. Some of their main responsibilities have included executing strategic responses to key regulatory changes, collaborating with treasurers to forge alliances and drive forward key advocacy initiatives, and representing the organization at meetings with senior policy makers.
Sairah Burki completed their MBA in Finance at The Wharton School and their Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Analysis at Princeton University.
