Facilities Security Officer at Creare

Paul Movizzo has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Paul began their career in the US Navy, where they held various roles, including Commanding Officer and Pilot in command of the E-2C Hawkeye. Paul was responsible for administering core flight training programs and managing milestones for the transition of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye into fleet replacement training. In addition, they had several military assignments, where they served in different positions, including squadron Executive Officer and flight instructor.

After leaving the Navy, Movizzo worked as a Federal Executive Fellow at RAND, where they provided subject matter assistance on future capability analyses. Paul then joined the US Navy Warfare Development Command, where they served as the Fleet Experimentation Department Head and Section Chief in the Office of Security Cooperation - Iraq. In these roles, they led teams conducting complex technical experiments, developed tactics and procedures, and advised on matters of naval strategy and contracting.

Currently, Movizzo works at Creare, where they are involved in SBIR Technology Transfer. Their role includes searching for opportunities to engage with defense and industrial base partners and investigating commercialization opportunities for Creare's technology solutions. Throughout their career, Movizzo has consistently demonstrated leadership, expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Paul Movizzo's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which was obtained between 1996 and 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies at the US Naval War College, from 2002 to 2003. Lastly, in 2017, Paul attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth to complete a program called Next Step to Business, although no specific field of study is provided for this.
