Elmar Haneveld

Elmar Haneveld is a seasoned Design System Specialist currently working at Air France-KLM and co-founding CreateNew, the first designer-owned cooperative focused on fostering independence within a supportive design community. Previously, Elmar held significant roles at Givt as a Design Strategist and Product Designer, as well as Art Director at E.ON Drive, where new design systems were developed. Freelance work at Polestar contributed to the online Design System for various products, and positions at Woonfonds and Centraal Beheer involved translating strategic goals into enhanced user experiences. Elmar's career also includes roles at Zilveren Kruis, energiedirect, and TomTom, culminating in a comprehensive expertise in UX/UI design and service design. Elmar holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology & Philosophy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Propedeuse in Social Pedagogical Assistance from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
