Samy Nashabe has diverse work experience starting in 2010 as an Instrumentation Lab Assistant at the University of Balamand, where they taught digital circuits and operated lab equipment. In 2013, they worked as an Information Security Lab Assistant at the same university. In 2014, they took on roles as an Event Usher/Ticket Taker at Utah State University and as a Tutor at Wilson Elementary School. In 2016, they were a Graduate Assistant Intern at Utah State University, conducting research and performing electromagnetic simulations. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at HP as an HP Indigo Remote Support Engineer, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and leading continuous improvement events.
