Jayne Lovelock

Jayne Lovelock has a diverse work experience in the arts and cultural sector. Jayne started their career at Orchestra Victoria as an Assistant Orchestral Librarian from January 2007 to October 2008. Jayne then worked as the Theatre Development Manager at Union House Theatre, Melbourne University Student Union from November 2008 to February 2009.

From February 2009 to April 2010, Jayne served as a Creative Producer at Multicultural Arts Victoria. Jayne then joined Arts d'Australie - Stephane Jacob (Paris) as the Head of Development from April 2010 to January 2012. After that, they were appointed as the Creative Director & CEO at Melbourne Fringe Festival from January 2012 to March 2015.

In 2015, Jayne took on the role of Development Manager at Malthouse Theatre from July 2015 to March 2017. Jayne then worked as the Director of Development at Melbourne Theatre Company from March 2017 to February 2019.

From February 2019 to June 2022, Jayne held two positions at Creative Partnerships Australia. Jayne first served as the Executive Director of Operations and Marketing, and then as the Executive Director of Research and Engagement.

Currently, Jayne is employed at Creative Australia as the Director of Private Partnerships and Impact, starting in July 2023.

Jayne Lovelock has a Bachelor of Music (Performance) and Bachelor of Arts (Literature) from the University of Melbourne, which they completed from 2001 to 2006. Jayne also pursued Arts Management as Creative Practice at Parsons School of Design - The New School in Paris, France from 2011 to 2012. In addition, they obtained a Master of Arts & Entertainment Management from Deakin University between 2009 and 2010. Currently, they are enrolled in the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which they will complete in 2022.
