Praveen Gorla, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, focusing on algorithms and minimal latency approaches for 5G and 6G mobile edge networks. With extensive involvement in the Free Software Movement as an executive committee member and lead of the Swecha Voice Initiative, Praveen advocates for open access and community-driven technological advancement. Praveen serves as an associate editor for the Wiki Journal of Science, a board member at IndiaRxiv, and represents India in the Creative Commons Global Network. Prior experience includes research roles at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and mentorship positions at Mozilla Foundation and the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum. Praveen holds a Ph.D. in resource and mobility management for 5G base stations and a Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering.
