Filippo Di Trapani

Filippo Di Trapani has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Filippo is currently the Director of Product Design at Creative Layer and remx.xyz, where they focus on building tools for creators and curating collaborations. Previously, they worked as a Senior Designer at B12 and Automattic, where they led projects and managed teams. Filippo also served as a Partner Operations Manager and Senior Designer at Shopify, a UX Lead at You.i, and a User Experience Designer at Momentous. Additionally, Filippo has been involved in the design industry as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Applications Developer, Interaction Designer, and Graphic Designer at RealDecoy and the Canadian Wildlife Federation.

Filippo Di Trapani pursued their higher education at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. In 2000-2001, they completed a degree in Design Foundations, which provided him with a strong foundation in the principles of design. Following this, from 2001-2004, they pursued a degree in Graphic Design, where they focused on developing their skills in graphic design techniques and visual communication. Subsequently, from 2006-2007, Filippo undertook a degree in Interactive Multimedia, where they gained expertise in various areas such as web development, Flash Actionscript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, web design, and interaction design.
