Kate Deans is an experienced professional in the cultural and creative sectors, currently serving as the International Officer at Creative Scotland since May 2015, where responsibilities include managing international projects and developing key partnerships. Previously, Kate held positions such as the Creative Europe Desk UK-Scotland Culture Manager, Festival Assistant Manager with Iberodocs, and Festival Administrator for the Edinburgh International Science Festival. Kate's extensive experience also includes roles with Festivals Edinburgh and the British Council, along with educational qualifications in Psychology from The University of Edinburgh and certificates in Arabic and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
