Creative Scotland
Olivia Carr is an experienced media and public relations professional currently serving as the Interim Media Relations & PR Officer at Creative Scotland since April 2021. In this role, Olivia utilizes media and PR best practices to enhance the visibility of the arts, screen, and creative industries both domestically and internationally. Prior to this, Olivia held the position of Press and Marketing Officer at Tron Theatre Ltd, where responsibilities included coordinating press campaigns and generating promotional materials. Additional experience includes freelance content writing and various marketing roles at organizations such as CultureNL and Flexiworkforce, along with leading press/media efforts for the BRUT Europe event. Olivia holds an MA (Hons) in History from the University of Glasgow and has completed further studies at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
