Abba Shapiro is an accomplished industry professional with extensive experience in consulting, education, and speaking engagements in the fields of video applications and media production. Since founding Abba Shapiro Consulting in 1995, Shapiro has held various consultancy roles at prominent companies such as Adobe, Apple Computer, and the Associated Press Television News, while also working as an instructor at CreativeLive and educator at lynda.com. With a commitment to sharing knowledge, Shapiro serves as a speaker at NAB Post|Production World and Editor's Retreat. Additionally, Shapiro is recognized as the Principal Photographer of Shapiro Images and has been involved with Future Media Concepts as a consultant and speaker. Shapiro holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of Maryland.
