George Kwadwo Appiah has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. In 2010, they founded Creativity Group and served as the Founder. In 2011, they took on an internship role as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer at Otis Elevators. From 2012 to 2016, they studied Electrical/Electronics Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and was actively involved in various organizations and leadership roles during their time there. In 2014, they co-founded Invent Electronics and held the position of Co-founder/Business Development Director until 2016. George Kwadwo also served as the Chief Executive Officer of QuadSolar, a position they held since 2014. In 2015, they co-founded Kumasi Hive and served as the CEO/Co-Founder. George Kwadwo later joined Ghana Tech Lab in 2018 as the Executive Director. Additionally, they became the Council Chairman/ Founder of Ghana Hubs Network from 2017 to 2018. Currently, George Kwadwo Appiah is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of SolarTaxi, a position they assumed in 2018.
George Kwadwo Appiah holds a Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. In the same time period, they also completed a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. In 2004 to 2007, they obtained their West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate in Science from Pope John Senior Secondary and Junior Seminary.

Creativity Group is a student-run organization which seeks to create a collaborative interdisciplinary platform for university undergraduate students, eager to use their knowledge with innovation and technology as a tool, to solve problems in our communities and in Ghana for social interventions and sustainable development. OBJECTIVES To help discover the next generation of problem solvers, innovators, entrepreneurs, leaders, and social thinkers. To provide the platform for the students to contribute to the sustainable development of the nation whiles they pursue their interest and what they are passionate about. To equip members with adequate practical knowledge whiles inspiring in them, the do-it-yourself spirit to help them solve problems in their various communities. To improve the academic performance of members through bridging the gap between theoretical/classroom knowledge and practical application of such knowledge. To inspire members to take up challenges in our communities, solving their immediate problems to improve upon their standard of living.
