Pedro Lovatt Garcia

Pedro Lovatt Garcia is a dedicated professional in the fields of biotechnology and investment, currently serving as a Student Investment Partner at Creator Fund since November 2022, where leadership is provided to the Imperial Creator Fund team. Previously, Pedro held roles such as Technology Transfer Lead at Nucleate, focusing on accelerating biotech entrepreneurship, and Biocomputing Ambassador at LatchBio, where work involved bioinformatics infrastructure development. Achievements include winning a £50,000 grant from SynbiCITE and reaching the final stages of SynBioUK's Catalyse Accelerator. Pedro has also gained experience as a High Throughput Screening Intern at LabGenius and has a leadership background as President of the UCL Muay Thai Society. Academic credentials include a PhD in Synthetic Biology from Imperial College London, complemented by a Master's in Systems and Synthetic Biology and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from UCL.
