Vijay Sambamurthy

Vijay Sambamurthy is a technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CIO at Emerge since June 2023, Vijay previously worked as a Software Engineer at AMD, focusing on Radeon Software products. As Technology Lead and Co-Founder at Vuzec, significant contributions included building the technology architecture and developing smart contracts using various tools and frameworks. Additionally, experience as an Innovation Engineer at Scotiabank involved developing a DLT-based financial system, while earlier roles included teaching assistance at the University of Toronto and research assistance at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Vijay is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, having completed the International Baccalaureate at King George V School.
