Tim Sovay is the current Chief Business Development & Partnerships Officer at CreatorIQ. Prior to this, they were a Consultant at Samsung Mobile USA, where they partnered with the Head of Digital Content to develop the audience and platform strategy for Samsung Gear VR, Gear 360, and Samsung Pay. Tim also launched the first brand-funded Creator Academy to support the development of 15 creators through seminars, mentorship, and gear.

Before their time at Samsung Mobile USA, Tim Sovay was the Senior Vice President at theAudience. Tim was an early stage executive at the venture-backed global influencer marketing agency that grew to $25mm in revenue in four years. During their time there, they created a first-of-its-kind global network of over 300+ digital creators, celebrities, musicians, and athletes that reached 3 billion social impressions on a monthly basis. Additionally, they supervised and mentored a team of 43 employees across brand strategy, business development, client services, content partnerships, data analytics, and media buying. Some of the notable brands they managed strategic relationships with include American Express, Calvin Klein, Coachella, Ford, McDonald’s, Target, Unilever, Viacom, and Vice Media. Under their direction, the company launched ground-breaking brand strategy and creator activations such as the brand strategy for the Coachella Music & Arts Festival on all major social platforms and on-site activations; the first “socially native” major theatrical movie release for Spring Breakers that led to $33+MM global box office on a $1MM marketing budget; and the brand strategy for the American Express “Serve” product launch via the development and distribution of a 45-minute documentary, large scale influencer activation, consumer social engagement strategy, and paid media amplification.

Tim Sovay reports to Igor Vaks, Founder & CEO. They work with Jon Namnath - Chief Operating Officer, Ben Staveley - SVP, Growth, and Bethany Ellis - Chief People Officer.
