Breanna G. has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Breanna most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at CreaTV San Jose, where they played a crucial role in the development of policies and procedures, strategic and financial planning, and worked closely with producers and community members. As a founding Board Member of CreaTV San Jose, Breanna served as both Vice Chair and Chair during their tenure. Breanna also participated in the interview process and selection of the CEO and staff members. Breanna joined the San Jose Downtown Association as a Director on the Board of Directors in 2018 and remained in that role until May 2022.
Prior to these positions, Breanna worked as the Director of External Affairs at KQED, where they developed and executed strategic engagement and communication initiatives. Breanna also directed external affairs and oversaw the development of long-term strategic relationships with community partners. At the Computer History Museum, they served as the Director of Brand and Media, leading branding, marketing, communications, and media efforts. Breanna developed a comprehensive marketing and communications plan and led the brand evaluation process.
Breanna's previous experience includes serving as the Director of Marketing at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, the largest and most diverse Planned Parenthood affiliate in the United States. In this role, they led all marketing initiatives and played a key role in a statewide brand research task force. Breanna also recruited, hired, and trained a creative marketing team and developed the department into a leader in corporate brand and marketing strategy.
Additionally, Breanna served as a member of the Santa Clara County Commission on the Status of Women - Crime and Violence Committee from 2013 to 2014. Breanna started their career as a Product Manager at McGraw-Hill/CTB.
Breanna G. attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Mass Communications.

CreaTV San Jose
CreaTV San Jose, a nonprofit community media center, fulfills its mission, to inspire, educate and connect San Jose communities, using media to foster civic engagement, by providing the training, tools and platforms that allow diverse, and often underserved, communities to tell their stories and express their views through digital media. Since 2008, CreaTV has aired more than 30,000 community videos in eight languages, helped hundreds of non-profits tell their stories and build capacity, and served more than 20,000 youth through our MAP grant to San Jose schools and partnerships with Adobe Youth Voices, Silicon Valley Creates, Xilinx Educational Ecosystem and Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force. CreaTV manages four public and education channels for the City of San Jose. Community 15, Classrooms 28 (pre-K through grade 12) and Silicon Valley 30 are viewable in 150,000 Comcast Cable households in San Jose and parts of Campbell. Bay Voice 27 (College), is a regional channel viewable in 450,000 Comcast Cable households in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
