Charles Holladay has a solid background in the medical field, particularly in oncology. Charles began their career as the President of Charleston Cancer Ctr in 2001 and held this position until 2019. In 2013, they also served as the Medical Director for Agape Hospice of the Low Country until 2018. Most recently, Holladay worked at Crescent Hospice as an Associate Medical Director starting in 2018, and in 2019 they joined Charleston Oncology as a Hematologist/Oncologist.

Furthering their education, Charles attended the Medical University of South Carolina from 1991 to 1995, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
