Cristina Olaru has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Cristina is currently the Director of the Risk Management Division at Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. Since joining in June 2021. Prior to their current role, Cristina was the Senior Director of the Risk Division at Idea::Bank Romania from November 2014 to May 2021. Cristina also served as the Head of the Risk Division at Banca Comerciala Carpatica from April 2011 to May 2014. Before that, they worked at Bank Leumi as the Deputy Credit Risk Manager from April 2010 to April 2011, and as the Credit Review Officer from August 2007 to April 2010. Cristina began their banking career at UniCredit Tiriac Bank, where they held various roles including Control Risk Specialist, Assistant Business Manager, and Banking Officer from April 2004 to August 2007.
Cristina Olaru completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Gheorghe Sincai High School from 1998 to 2002. From 1999 to 2003, they attended Academia de Studii Economice din București and obtained a degree in Commerce, becoming an Economist.

We grew up, improved ourselves and irrespective of our name we had a single aim: to offer banking products and services that best match our clients' needs. For this purpose, whether for SME's, large companies or individuals, we had put at work new banking models, novel technologies as well as the will to be of assistance, to keep close to our clients and their businesses.
