Venkat Gajulapalli

Venkat Gajulapalli is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology management across several leading companies. Currently serving as the SVP of Engineering at Credit Genie since February 2024, Venkat focuses on empowering users to manage their finances effectively. Previously, as Director of Engineering at Reddit, Inc., Venkat established the mission and strategy for the Clients Platform, successfully enhancing mobile and web applications. Venkat also held significant roles at Amazon, leading the Alexa Cloud Platform, and at Twitch, where a cultural shift was implemented to prioritize software quality among over 300 engineers. Career progression includes positions at Jawbone, Intuit, Yahoo!, BEA Systems, SUN Microsystems, and IBM. Venkat holds an Executive MBA from The Wharton School and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
