David Pollock has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David currently holds the position of Vice President, Partnerships and Banking Services at Credit Karma, where they have been since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Partnerships and Banking Services at Credit Karma from December 2017 to November 2021.
Before joining Credit Karma, Pollock worked as the Chief Operating Officer at BookKeeping Express from May 2015 to November 2017. In this role, they provided C-Level leadership, overseeing various departments and implementing strategies for revenue and partnership growth. David also played an integral role in leveraging technology to scale the business and launching a bookkeeping automation platform. Additionally, Pollock acted as interim Chief Marketing Officer at BookKeeping Express, building a content-oriented, scalable B2B marketing function.
From 2013 to 2015, Pollock served as the Head of US Partnerships at Xero. David was responsible for developing and maintaining Xero's US product partnership ecosystem, working with various partners including banks and major product partners.
In 2012, Pollock worked as the Director of Business Development at Yola.com. Their responsibilities included sourcing and managing revenue-generating partnerships and implementing new product features with global product management and engineering teams.
Prior to that, Pollock held various roles at American Express, starting as a Management Associate in 2007 and eventually becoming a Senior Manager of Strategy and Business Development. In this position, they conceived, sourced, negotiated, and implemented new partnerships and managed internal and external partners/vendors.
Pollock began their career in sales and sales management as an independent contractor and later served as the Manager of Wireless Sales and Business Development at AirMedia, where they focused on creating product development strategies and executing sales of the company's mobile marketing platform.
Throughout their career, Pollock has demonstrated expertise in partnerships, business development, marketing, and operational leadership across various industries.
David Pollock received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida between 1993 and 1997. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued an MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
