Lydia Merrida

Lydia Merrida is an experienced Corporate Counsel currently at Credit Karma since February 2024, specializing in corporate governance, board and shareholder relations, subsidiary management, and mergers & acquisitions. Previously, Lydia was a General Counsel at Bitwise Industries, focusing on corporate governance and venture capital transactions. As a Charter Member of TechGC, an exclusive community for General Counsels, Lydia engaged in knowledge sharing and professional support. Lydia began their legal career as a Corporate Associate at Gunderson Dettmer, where expertise in emerging growth companies and venture capital transactions was developed. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Howard University.
