Paulina Biernacki

Paulina Biernacki, PhD, is a seasoned professional in educational research and UX design, currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Product Researcher II at Credit Karma since October 2022. Prior to this role, Paulina contributed to educational policy and technology design at Stanford University from September 2017 to September 2022 as a Project Manager and Graduate Research Assistant. In this capacity, mentorship and management of research teams were key responsibilities. Paulina also has substantial experience as a UX researcher, emphasizing user-centered design for adults with autism spectrum disorder, and has interned at prominent organizations including Facebook and Udemy, where significant contributions to usability metrics and product roadmaps were made. With a strong foundation in psychology, including certifications and extensive work as a school psychologist, Paulina holds a PhD in Learning Sciences and Technology Design from Stanford University, as well as an M.Ed. and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of British Columbia.
