Xiwang Li is a data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning and engineering management. Currently serving as Manager II, Data Science at Credit Karma since June 2025, Xiwang previously held the position of Senior Manager, Data Science at Walmart Global Tech, where leadership of a team of over 10 engineers focused on developing machine learning systems for content retrieval and processing billions of items daily. Prior experience includes Engineering Manager Machine Learning at Velodyne Lidar, leading the deployment of 3D computer vision models and establishing MLOps strategies, as well as serving as an Expert Data Scientist and Team Lead at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where deep learning models for object detection were developed.
