Amber Gravius

Amber Gravius serves as the Director and Chief Data Officer at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) since January 2022, also holding the title of Acting Director. Previously, Amber worked as the Supervisory Assistant for Business Innovation, leading business projects and organization change management to modernize examination applications from July 2016 to March 2022. Amber's career at NCUA spans from 1999 to 2016 in various roles, including Supervisory Examiner, Risk Management Officer, and Credit Union Examiner. Additionally, Amber served as a Force Management and Intelligence Officer in the US Air Force Reserve from January 2002 to June 2009. Academic credentials include an MBA with a concentration in Information Technology from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College.
