Fred Howard

Chief Technology Officer at Credit Union of Denver

Fred Howard has over three decades of work experience in various roles related to technology and information management. Fred is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at the Credit Union of Denver since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Clark County Credit Union from October 2016 to November 2021. Fred also served as the VP of Research and Development and Director of Software Development at OpenEdge, a Division of Global Payments from August 2010 to September 2016. Before that, they worked as the Architecture Manager at Mercury Payment Systems in 2009 and as the VP of Application Development and IT Architecture and Planning at ProLogis from February 2004 to February 2008. Fred's early career includes positions at Qwest Communications and USWEST Communications, where they held managerial roles in corporate data management, software development, and technical management from 1985 to 2003.

Fred Howard attended Regis University from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued their MBA degree in Business. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1985, they obtained their BS CIS degree in Computer Information Systems from Devry University.
