Phylma Timea

Phylma Timea is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in marketing and public relations. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited since October 2021, Phylma previously held roles such as Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea and Graduate in Communications & Public Affairs at Newcrest Mining Limited. Additional experience includes working as a Communications Officer and Trainee Editor at the Papua New Guinea National Research Institute and participating as Stadium Media Center Supervisor during the 2017 FIFA Under 20 Women's World Cup. Phylma’s early career features reporting roles with the National Broadcasting Commission and the 2015 Pacific Games News Service. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Economic Policy Analysis from PNG National Research Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Papua New Guinea.
