Hasha Herath has a diverse work experience in roles related to fraud strategy, business intelligence, data analysis, strategy and analytics, and demand planning analysis. They most recently served as the Director of Fraud Strategy at Mercury® Financial, where they started in August 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Fraud Strategies Senior Manager at the same company from September 2018. They also worked at Conduent as Manager of Fraud Strategies from January 2017 to September 2018, Manager of Business Intelligence from August 2016 to January 2017, and Senior Data Analyst of Business Intelligence from August 2012 to August 2016. Before that, they worked as a Senior Associate of Strategy & Analytics at uShip.com from October 2011 to August 2012, and as a Demand Planning Analyst at HAVI Global Solutions from March 2010 to September 2011. They started their career as a Statistics intern at The Nielsen Company from September 2009 to March 2010.

Hasha Herath earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Statistics from the University of Minnesota in 2003. Hasha then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2006 to 2008. In 2008 to 2009, they attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where they earned a second Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Statistics.
