Paul Stanborough

Paul Stanborough is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and collections management across various financial institutions. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Mercury® Financial since 2023, Paul previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Canadian Collections & Recovery at TD from 2016 to 2023. Prior roles include Managing Director of Collections & Recovery at JPMorgan Chase (2011-2016), where Paul led business transformation initiatives, and several senior positions at HSBC, including Senior Vice President of Call Center Operations. Paul has also contributed to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Capital One, First Union, and McKinsey & Company, showcasing a strong background in customer service and operational efficiency. A former Infantry Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, Paul holds a Master’s degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s in History from the Royal Military College of Canada.
